how it all began...

California4Rent started in Prague in spring 2020. It was actually not supposed to be a rental business at all, we just wanted to have some fun and bought a 2000 California T4 for our own use. The costs associated with buying and owning such a fantastic camper are actually not low, so we agreed to buy a California together. We took a good care of her and tried right away the first summer what we were looking forward to so much. And we only realized that owning such car can reward you with limitless amount of fun and adventure.

Choice of camper

The choice of the California T4 with the immortal 2.5l TDi engine was clear from the start. Firstly, because one of us had the opportunity to experience the joy of traveling in a VW California T2 motorhome as a small boy with his parents. And the other one traveled around the world in California T4 several times. And since the T4 is simply the most reliable of the entire series of compact motorhomes produced so far and popular worldwide, there was nothing to solve.
The Grand California 600 is the newest and most comfortable camper in its class. In short, we simply had to have it 🙂 For great experiences!

We love travelling. It is an important part of our lives. California is an adventure machine, your ticket to freedom and a temporary life-style. The adults feel like kids again and the kids will cherish sweet memories for their lives. We aim to make these cars available and affordable to everyone.
